Houston's Best Pumpkin Patches

There's something about fall in Texas that makes us want to load up the car, grab a hayride, and come home with way too many pumpkins. Whether you've got toddlers who want to pet every goat in sight or teens who are all about the corn maze and the photo ops, there's a patch around Houston with your name on it.

We rounded up six of our favorites, plus the dates, highlights, and need-to-know details for each. Grab your flannel (even if it's still 85 degrees) and let's go!

Tips for a Great Patch Day
  • Buy tickets online. Many farms sell out on peak weekends, and some offer online-only pricing.
  • Check the weather. Most of these are outdoor events, and schedules can change with rain.
  • Bring cash. Handy for pumpkins, treats, and extras.
  • Dress for the farm. Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and water go a long way.
  • Bring a wagon. Little legs (and big pumpkins) will thank you.
